Description

The vision for the Maluka Views Development Precinct is to provide Palmerston with an innovative,  well designed, functional and environmentally sustainable mixed commercial, retail and residential development which:

  • focuses on improving the urban amenity, connectivity and attractiveness of the neighbourhood;
  • provides sustainable housing in an integrated estate incorporating detached single dwellings (Zone SU Specific Use); one and two storey units/ town houses (Zone MD Multiple Dwellings); two/ three storey Terrace Housing (Zone Specific Use); six storey residential apartments (Zone HD High Density Residential); and, 8 storey mixed use building with up to 7 storeys of residential apartments (Zone CB Central Business);
  • complies with the Building Code of Australia and Energy Efficiency Guidelines;
  • implements crime prevention through environmental design principles; and
  • demonstrates an innovative approach to housing that enhances choice and diversity in close proximity to Palmerston’s Central Activity District.

Hermanus Louw was appointed as the Development Manager to manage the development of the project masterplan, preparing and obtaining Development Permits and release the site for sale and development through a two staged tendering process.
