Description
Louw Group was engaged by the City of Darwin to lead the masterplanning and early works design development for the Nightcliff Village, a well-established but ageing neighbourhood centre with strong community value and complex stakeholder interfaces. The project required careful balancing of public realm improvements, operational constraints of the markets, private land ownership, and long-term redevelopment objectives under the NT Planning Scheme. The commission covered place planning, stakeholder engagement, long-term masterplanning, and detailed design of priority early works packages capable of delivery without compromising future development.
