GRANDMA’S PLACE

Description

Grandma’s Place Extension is a staged childcare expansion project in regional Queensland designed to increase facility capacity while maintaining operational continuity.

The works were structured into three packages covering demolition and operational works, main construction, and playscape delivery, enabling early commencement and improved procurement flexibility.

A bespoke AS4000 Guaranteed Maximum Price contract was developed with separable portions, cost-sharing provisions and clear risk allocation to improve cost certainty and support efficient delivery in a regional contractor market.
